Gateway Sculpture

This sculpture was designed by Chris Booth, made from basalt boulders gifted by Ngati Kura tribe from Northland, it was formally handed over to the city in 1990. The wall behind the sculpture houses entrances 3, 4, and 5 to the air raid tunnels, see the map
